Water levels are coming down fast. So Far, temps are good and bugs are coming off daily. However, Afternoon winds can slow things down on top. The best way to describe how it has been inconsistently good. One day the fish are looking up from the get go. The next day it may not pick up until the afternoon. There are plenty of PMD’s, little stones, and caddis.One of the best searching rigs has been a bigger stone fly floating a PMD nymph. Often the inside bends will out produce the banks. Looks like Hoot Owl regs are a week or two around the corner if we don’t get any precipitation. So Early starts will start to be the name of the game around the 4th of July.
